Primary Three have been looking at the topic of school throughout September and October. As part of this interesting topic they decided to compose questions they would like to ask a past pupil of their school in an interview about how school was long ago.
We are very privileged to have Mrs. Hughes a volunteer in Primary Four in St. Joseph’s who attended the school when she was a young girl. Mrs. Hughes was more than willing to answer all the questions the children had about school in the past and how it has changed today.
The children really enjoyed this opportunity and asked many interesting and funny questions. A special word of thanks to Mrs. Hughes (or Granny Annie as some of the children so fondly refer to her) for sharing all her fascinating stories and giving so freely of her time.
